One + One Motel

The staff was very nice. They used a translator app to communicate since we don't speak much Chinese and they didn't speak much English. We chose our breakfast entrée and the staff offered to give us a wake-up call when it was delivered. The rooms have a unique set-up with a garage (parking for 1 car) on street level and the room above which is reached via an internal stairway at the back of the garage. Don't be misled by the slightly run-down appearance of the outside of the hotel. The room inside was nicely decorated, was a good size, and the bathroom was one of the largest we have seen in Taiwan. Both were clean. The bedding and towels were good quality and comfortable. It was quiet. We ended up with a room with a jacuzzi which was great after a long hike. The shower water was hot. There was a small refrigerator with bottled water. The location was great for us as we wanted to hike around the reservoir and it was a short walk away. The motel is also near a bus stop if you are arriving by public transportation. There were a few restaurants within walking distance.

Very quiet, nice and close to most of the attractions we wanted to go to in Longtan!!!
